Books I Will Never Read!

I feel like this video has quite a few unpopular opinions. But please know that these are my opinions and in no way am I insulting your favorite when I talk about these books. I'm glad they worked for you. They just didn't for me. :)

Also, when I say 'books I will never read' it means 'books or series or authors I will never read'. :D

I am glad you made this video because there needs more talk about how certain books are not always a hit with everyone. I usually stay away from recent books because I find the hype causes high expectations.

Nicholas Sparks is like American version of Chetan Bhagat, according to me.

I won't read Cassandra Clare because she has a lot of series and it is hard to keep up with them.
But as far as it is about incest, the only problem I have with incest is the growth and development. The offspring will not evolve that much or they will have a problem. Otherwise, I am okay with reading incest.


But finally, happy to see Chetan Bhagat in the list.

I personally really love Divergent (the first book only, the others are 👎) It's one of the first books that ever got me into reading and I know that a lot of people dislike these books but it seems to hold a special place in my heart. As for your last pick, I had this feeling that it'd be Cassandra Clare (I don't even know why). I bought City of Bones initially but now I really don't think it appeals to me. I feel like if I read it I'll be left with a meh feeling, nothing new. Personally not interested in her works. I also tried reading City of Bones but the writing and the world wasn't for me at all. Also, not a fan of Twilight. I have just seen one movie tho but nah not for me again.

Haha I was so expecting to see Mark Manson!! Divergent trilogy isn't that good, Allegiant especially is just, BAD.
I respect your feelings and decision about Cassandra Clare books, but her books don't really support incest... You'll know if you read the whole Mortal Instruments series😅

I read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks and I had really liked it. I don't think I'll pick a Nietzsche book after hearing this. 😠

These are actually pretty good choices. I despise that Everything us fucked book so yes, trash that!!! I didn't know Nietzsche was so anti woman. I've read him for my class and I honestly found his texts so dense and meh, don't care for him. Also omg yes don't read the Divergent series, only the first one us ant good, I read them a long time ago. YES, I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE NOT READING CC! I love that fandom because of the show but I hate the author and her books. I made a whole blog post on it but yup, she's toxic as hell, great decision 🥰
