Williams's ambitious F1 2025 car reveal explained

Williams has gone all-out with an ambitious launch for its 2025 F1 car. The event at Silverstone to reveal the FW47 shows just how far Williams has come from a disastrous situation 12 months ago, when it was barely ready for testing. This time around it is so on top of the 2025 car, it has shaken the car down and held a full launch with a one-off livery.

If Williams have cured the spin happy characteristics of last years car then the midfield should be very interesting. The top 4 might end up in their own battle for the title but hopefully the remaining 6 teams are very close to each other and not too far off the top 4. This would make for a cracking season.

I think for Williams to actually be competitive at back at the front they need to be able to make their own suspension and gearbox housing

I hope Williams can change and become competitive again. When I started watching F1 they were always in the mix and watching their decline was like a watching a slow moving train wreck - it seemed to continue for way too long.
