Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket thought to be carrying an undisclosed number of Starshield satellites for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). Liftoff from pad 4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for 1 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, May 22 (4 a.m. EDT / 0800 UTC). The first-stage booster, making its 16th flight, will land on the drone ship 'Of Course I Still Love You' just over eight minutes after launching.

Our live coverage with commentary from Will Robinson-Smith will begin about 30 minutes before launch.

Bummer!!! This is the first SpaceX launch I didn’t get to watch live!! Replay was still pretty awesome though!!

They ever film the fairing halves coming in? The ships have or had a big hammock type net that was supposed to catch these things as they came in on their parasails.
