In a Womens 45+5L and a Men's 55+5L, these new Deuter Aircontact Ultra packs are light as! Weighing in at 1.2kg and 1.27kg respectively

If you're looking for a pack for fastpacking, that's light but doesn't skimp on the comfort, this pack will sort you out with it's excellent "comfort-to-weight ratio."

I'll leave all the bells and whistles to Rocky (it doesn't actually have bells or a whistle, but it has enough pockets to fit them in for sure! )

And to complete the 'beer' in Beer O'clock Review, the beer today is from down in Wanaka's Ground up Brewing and it's the 'Industry of Cool' Hazy IPA, and it's a great one for the warmer and longer days ahead! They also have their own brew bar, so make sure you pop in if you're down that way!

I hope you all get out and hit those trails! Let us know your favourite local trails for a quick hoon when you can - be that running, hiking, paddling or whatever ya do! We'd love some new ideas!

Nice review, Deuter packs are absolute quality. The aircontact back system is the reason I bought one, but you shouldnt load over 12kg on these, as the straps are pretty thin.. I had 2 other packs with suspension back systems and they both developed a creaking/squeaking sound under load doing multi day trips, which is the reason I went with Deuter.
