So I used to use Reason up until version 5 but mostly used it to make basi piano tracks. Now I got Reason 11 standard but I'm basically a beginner again. I gotta tell yo, these sound packs are KEY!! The main problem with reason today is that people want to get up and running quickly with ready-made sounds that are 'phat' out of the box in order to be able to quickly lay down a good sounding track. Reason is about spending hours designing sounds before yo can really use them, and that makes the barrioer to entry WAAAY too high for beginners. I used to relish doing this back in 2005 and I want to do it again, but in the meantime being able to quickly find inspiring sounds made by the community is vital.

Exactly. This is a subscription for refills. The whole Reason+ thing was just the tip of the iceberg. Wasn`t happy with their updates in the last couple of years and don`t like the direction they are going. Im switching to ableton and prob. gonna use Reason 10 with ReWire in it.

I got R+ when they released the hi-res graphics feature for the upcoming v12 update. I got it mainly for the extra instruments and the cheap & easy upgrade experience. I'm underwhelmed by the sound packs, though - they don't seem to offer more than just the sounds used in a disposable demo track.

On windows, all the installed packs are available in a hidden folder, and you can access them even if you don't have Reason companion anymore. Just go to the Browser and tick the box that says "Show hidden folders".

Can you clarify that Reason plus does not require any vertion of Reason the use it? Also where is the Reason from Reason plus running from if it's not from your own Reason?

Can you save these sound packs on an external hard drive if not it's going to take up a bunch of internal hard drive space & slow down my computer fast?

Perhaps I should read the comments and do a little searching but, what is stopping anyone from simply copying over the refills in the "packs" folder in the Reason+ folder to your Reason Suite folder (or anywhere really and just include it in your paths) and simply keep using the "packs" in Suite after uninstalling Reason+?

In Australia you need an ABN (business tax number) to sign up for reason + I just bought reason 11 full before they axed suite, but this is only a hobby leisure activity and I don't make a cent from it,
also if you don't have a credit card you can't subscribe either, very odd when you can purchase RE's in their shop with paypal but not subscription payments. Does anyone know why?

What will happen to reason 11 suite users when they get reason 12, now that suite is dicontinued. Downgrade?
