Step 1, don’t buy an Alienware pc
Step 2, build your own pc

That's Alienware's way of saying: "Hey we could upgrade your PC to an SSD.... for a price😏"
😂😂😂

Remember when 5 minutes of boot time is considered normal?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Alienware PC's have zero airflow, look nice on the outside, stuck in the 2000's on the inside.

20 second boot for the win. I recently upgraded from a Sata ssd and holy moly the difference

Why did U remove the old 3.5" Boot drive. Makes a good long time storage D:\Drive.

if you buy alienware, i bet you wear a face mask in a car by yourself

Highly recommend a heat sink on faster m.2's. We see them over heat way too often. You can even get slim passive cooling copper plates that fit on m.2's that're under the GPU. Surprisingly effective at keeping temps down during long transfers (like Windows Updates - blech).

I have the r11 and it has lasted for 3 years, and still runs great. My SSD failed, and I replaced it with 1 Terabyte. I just think it gets a little hot, but it really is a high quality machine.

My laptop boots win 11 in 4 secs. Ssds are insane
bogdan_.
Alienware cases loook really cool, they had to do us dirty like that.

Why do some hdd dies just days after purchasing and the replacement from warranty lasts forever?

I bought this PC. With my own specs. They did the same thing to me. It was the first thing I switched out.

For once in my life I'm saying Alienware isn't in the wrong. I have this same PC I bought a couple years ago during the GPU shortage as my backup PC cause it was on sale. You have to specifically choose the ssd to not be part of the PC, the default option has an SSD. The customer took it off the options to make it cheaper, then complained about it

Ngl why not just install Tiny11 if it's for personal use? Especially if you're wanting to save space, not to mention why not keep the HDD as a secondary drive to bump max storage?
MrMariokart
Even my 2008 computer with a gtx 1050 takes only 1 minute to boot 😂

An HDD on windows 7 isn't that bad. Before I built my own I was running off of a now 13 year old Gateway desktop that I upgraded along the way and with windows 7 it was fine. But that same pc on windows 10 was unbearably slow.

My dell Inspiron 9200 has the same plastic hdd candy.

You should have migrate windows to the ssd and use the hdd as a storage
