DRS overtakes are *NOT* on track battles...

above ground aerodynamics cause enormous amounts of turbulence for the following car. Ground effect aerodynamics not nearly as much. They could easily implement the rules to not be as extreme as ground effects were in the 80s, and this would allow huge downforce, ability to pass (at least better), and some fascinating engineering by the teams.

wider front wing wil lead to more broken carbon fiber parts and punctures the first corner !

Watching it before it gets deleted again LMAO 😭

They made the aero more complicated in 2017 and two years later they’re going back to previous solutions, again with bigger rear wing, larger front wing and simpler shapes in the badge boards 😅 very smart people writing down these rules!

Honestly, bring back ground effect and active suspension, its high time that F1 has something relatable to the real world.

Man those 2021 cars look good! If only they would be even shorter.

everybody is complaining that drs will be to strong. If it will be to strong, they can just shorten the drs like they extended it this year?

Do any fans actually enjoy the FIA's micromanaging of the regulations to artificially control the winners and losers? The engineering in F1 used to be so interesting. Now the sport it is 95% politics to get next year's rule changes set to punish your opponents.

The larger front wing seems like a huge mistake. Making the cars wider and longer in the first place is what has ultimately crippled the sport. These cars are becoming way too big for the tracks they are racing on. Most particularly Monaco and RB ring. The tracks are too tight relative to the size of the vehicles. Cars can not easily get side by side and make it through a corner, and the straits are too short for passing unless its between the slowest car and the fastest car, and even then the HP difference between teams nowadays is negligible. The reason MotoGP bikes can race wheel to wheel is because they are small!! Its not about who has the fastest or most well packaged machine. The HP figures and the aerodynamic design of Moto bikes are much more varied than GT and Formula cars and yet teams are still able to race wheel to wheel. EITHER MAKE THE TRACKS BIGGER OR THE CARS SMALLER.THERE IS NO GOD DAMN WAY that a Maybach size car is going to race wheel to wheel at Monaco cleanly.

Can you possibly do a video on F1 Team's Simulators, what they use them for, how they are built etc.?

Loved the low rear wing, hope it won't get that much bigger as it seems.

Ross Brawn has made it easier for his old team to overtake lol...plus the back markers lol

The FIA should take care of fair and equal budgets for all the teams.

The same rules Mercedes and Force India voted through to neutralize the teams with better aerodynamics

Apparently Christian Horner said that according there simulations at RBR the wing aero changes won't help overtaking and that lap times which were predicted to be 1-1.5 seconds slow by the FIA are on track to be exactly the same if not maybe faster by the time mid season. Certain races in dry conditions will always be boring i.e Spain, Monaco and even Suzuka does produce the best racing. The FIA really need to get their DRS Zone lengths right next year.

The rear wing for 2019 looks so cool. Especially the lights on it

They can’t add more front end downforce because the aero balance would upset, even if they could. What they do is they maximise the floor, then they decide how big of a rear wing they want, and then they balance everything with the front wing.

The biggest shakeups arising from new rules are usually caused by one team finding a loophole no one else does.

Recall Brawn's double diffuser, or the Mercedes front-wing DRS, or McLaren's F-duct. Or even Mercedes being the only engine that managed to separate the turbo and the compressor when the new engine regs came in.
