This is a great little full-frame camera for the price. It's lightweight, excellent in low light, and has 45 focal points -- all of which are cross type. It's not for videographers, though (no 4K).

At $2, 000 it's a good buy, in my opinion. It'll be available around July 27 and can be preordered. Being primarily an event shooter, I'm on board with this camera because of its light weight, low-light capabilities, upgraded auto-focus system, and vari-angle screen.

I want to know the image quality of 6 D mark 2 compare to 5 D mark 4?

Interesting no explanation why the flash sync speed remained @ 1/180 second (have 1/250 on 70D) and max shutter speed of 1/4000 (have 1/8000 on 70D). Are these these locked out by camera firmware or does the fundamental design not support it? Would it be possible through CHDK to increase one or both?

Baa... im glad i switched from 6Di to Sony A7Rii, the 6D mark ii doesnt seem to be much better than the first version which i really liked but im glad i did not wait for the 6D Mkii

I don't do 4k video, but I am sure magic lantern will provide the needy 4k for some who want it.

Did the Canon rep say if video is your thing you might want to look at 80D?!!! That made no sense to me!! Why would 80D be better than this for video?! I thought this was just a full frame version of 80D! No?! Can anyone answer that?
