Karn was not ashwatthama's brother.
Ashwatthama was the son of Dronacharya (teacher of kaurava and pandava)
They were very close friends.

Both fought for the evil side of Kaurava.

Panadava were 5 brothers. But secretely there was another son (Karna) of kunti before her marriage so she just put him in a basket and left it into a river. He grew up in a lower class family and became a great warrier.

So Karna and arjuna were brothers

Bhairava fighting for the wrong side is exactly what is Karna's story - he fought for the wrong side in the Mahabharata and did and encouraged a lot of evil deeds, which led to his defeat, even though he was a great warrior. And Karna was adopted by a chariot driver in the Mahabharata, so in this movie, Bhairava was adopted by a pilot. Loved that tie back to the Mahabharata by the director!

In the Telugu version, there is an issue with the subtitles. It incorrectly refers to Karna as Ashwathama’s brother instead of his friend.

Bhairava was so annoying and unserious that his character literally uplifted the other characters and made us realize their importance. Made us appreciate them more. No one played a small part here. Each and every character in this movie is like pieces of puzzles. This first/ introduction part wouldn't be complete without them. Can't wait for part 2 to see Bhairava's redemption arc. They have something big in store for him. He's going to make up for being so unserious here in part 2.

For me Kalki will be 7/10 cause first half story build up and execution was very slow paced and boring tbh! And prabhas character writing was weak, his love interest roxy and weird songs were unnecessary. Amitabh's character and performance too good.

The first villain who was kidnapping girls was the one who put a tracker on the truck carrying Mother, Ashwatthama and the two rebels. He woke up and told Complex about the tracker. The Complex didn't follow Bhairava.

The movie is pretty average imo. And do not think that Karna was better than Arjun in any way. People who say otherwise are those who haven't read actual Mahabharat and derive their knowledge from TV serials. Think of it as a fan fiction of Mahabharat.
