I just recently received a pack of these pens and they're quite fun. I find the lighter though gives too much of the secret away to a spectator. Its obvious the ink is reacting to the flame. I imagine using another more organic heat source (in secret) would have a stronger effect. I have yet to test how much heat is required to trigger the effect. Like if one could use say, steam from a cup of coffee.
