China's exports recorded a double-digit on-year plunge again in July, this time by 14-point-five percent.
According to China's customs administration on Tuesday, exports last month fell to two-hundred-eighty-one billion U.S. dollars, the worst fall since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in February 2020.
Exports dropped back sharply starting from May this year after an upturn in March and April, while imports dipped by 12-point-four percent in July, one of the biggest declines in recent years.
China's global trade surplus was reduced by over 20-percent in July from a year earlier.
