FEMA was no help at all when my house flooded in the Midwest flooding. People were saying if you were to take money from FEMA. That would mean you would have to get flood insurance. And the flood insurance costs more than what FEMA would give you. I am a disabled woman on SSI. How can I afford flood insurance, FEMA? Once again, I don't think this country is forward people anymore. Nothing depresses me more than that.
