In this episode of out of bounds, we go back to the 1988 Seoul games to take a look at the last relay of the cold war. In this epic 4x400 meters relay, the three best track and field nations of the second part of the 20th century face each other : The soviet union, led by Tatyana Ledovskaya, Olga Nazarova, Mariya Pinigina and Olga Bryzgina, the East Germans, with Dagmar Neubauer, Kirsten Emmelmann, Sabine Busch and Petra Müller and last but not least, the americans, with Denean Howard, Diane Dixon, Valerie Brisco-Hooks and Florence Griffith-Joyner, triple gold medalist during the games.
