Not an ARRMA person, but honestly, man are they winning right now. ARRMA is making Traxxas look really bad right about now.

Throw some track tires on it and take it to the track and get some lap times, just for kicks! Would make for a really interesting, fun stock class where you can only change oils and tires!

I feel as someone just back to rc once your into one of the battery/ connector ecosystems it’s more difficult to go back and forth due to connectors etc.

I’m just getting back into rc after 20 + years away ( used to run a toy grade scorcher 6x6 ) picked up a used stampede for 90(plus 30 shipping) and ran it 3-4 times.
The nice battery popped and the receiver antenna got damaged so it only ran within 20 feet of me… but it was enough to get me back into this. Watched about 70+ hours of YouTube about rc now and I’m going to fix up the stampede, ( it was bashed hard) got a gorgon for some simple bashing.

Thanks for all the information ( mostly on previous videos but this was informative as well. )

Looking to get back into the hobby and this seems like a good place to start tbh. Maybe someday I consider slapping some wheels on it and trying my hand at racing it but this seems pretty cool as-is.

Pretty awesome. I have a lot of traxxas and Arrma both. And they all put smiles on my face. When Arrma and traxxas go toe to toe pumping out new cars, we as RC hobbyists are the winners 😂 That thing is awesome. That greenish yellow color looks sick. But, I hope when they officially release it there’s a pink and purple color scheme as well. 🤩

It’s the driveline upgrade combined with DSC for me. A center diff is a $70 upgrade on the jato bl 2s and all the vxl 3s models (excluding stampede) and the fact this includes it out of the box is a game changer. Upgraded input gears too. Personally I wish they’d have gone all the way with the diffs, but as someone who critiqued the hell out of arrma for the last decade, I think this is the peak arrma product right now. Makes the 4s trucks kinda look bad tbh. For $120 more I guess you get aluminum shocks, $50 worth of gears and while you do get a separate esc and receiver, no AVC. If they want to keep them at current pricing, they need to throw in the dx3 and 6200avc receiver. Personally I say do that to ALL the arrmas 4s and up, scrap the sr315 dual protocol and call it a day. The 223s cars get a low cost system, the higher end cars get a bind n drive experience with spektrum radios

Been waiting for this. Big W from Arrma. Seems like the Senton was geared too low out of the box compared to this.Traxxas needs to step it up on the electronics and pricing. I want to like them yet cant justify all the upgrades the Traxxas cars need right away along with the price.

There’s definitely some kind of weight distribution issue because every time it was landing the entire car shifted to the right and looked like it was being pulled down by weight.
