Starting from the Back Straddle, the aerial Supta Konasana, the aerial Upavishta Konasana comes up and finally the aerial Adho Mukha Vrksasana (handstand). Fully taking advantage of the decompression of the spine that this hang offers, I have enriched my practice with some extra stretchings of the upper body as I am playing with the different position of the hands. In some 'crucial' moments, I am carrying my weight on my own hands when I am straightening them, and try to perform a real handstand with the safety bindings that the hammock provides me. Clever, hah? I also love the 'tree-hang' pose, that occurs during the aerial handstand!
Don't try this poses unless under the guidance of an experienced instructor!
