I think the best way to take down Yiazmat is to decimate his stats by using breaks. 50 million+ HP is ridiculous.

I have played first on Ps2: 2 weeks ago I tried to fight him, but after 5 hours I only cut down 40 milions Hp
Last week (more specific 10 days ago, on a Saturday) I manage to defeat him after 5 hours and 37 minutes by changing strategy. At the last milion I had no more resources to recover KO, helth, mana, no elixir nothing. Somehow I manage to keep all alive and just go all in. One fail and one Win, Yiazmat have my best 2 records for "Longest Boss Fight"
Now I have the zodiac age on steam, switch and ps4 and I am ready for another fight

Did the bow cheese. Still works 2025, but placement is super tedious. AFK win for the win 👍

I loved the fact it took me 3 days real time (about 20 hours roughly) to beat it.
The sense of achievement was amazing ❤❤❤

I used DCG last year to beat it on Trial Mode on the Switch, it's a fun glitch and made me appreciate the character's movement, at the time I didn't have the Break abilities, now playing on PS4 I have the break and invisible weapons, but I'm looking for another way to kill him, but first I have to play again cause I didn't create a separately save file 🤡

Went in with breaks, had people spam reverse to tank the stupendus 12 hit combos he loved to spam at low hp, and Balthier with Yagyu darkblade, Fran with Mithuna Dark Shot & Dark Robes, Ashe with Zeus Mace Black Robes and Darkga for dps. Still was a rough lengthy fight. Next time I'm doing the Saitengrad strat for sure...

Hey Harvey, tried the 3xSeitengrat method, but my characters end up moving around automatically (without berserk) and will enter Yiazmat’s line of fire. What am I doing wrong?

Change the tittle to "3 Glitches you can do to kill Yuiazmat". That would be better.

In the Zodiac age since making the characters over powerful like they did they should have add in newer monsterz and levels would have been cool to have a level where you are fighting Yiazmat Jr so us the players can really test out are new abilities. Us the characters are like Vegeta in the Androids sega some of us need a few perfect Cell to fight against

I didn't find him that tough 😅 just a huge damage sponge, especially in the TZA.

My strategy:
White mage/Foebreak - heal, revive, break stats
Shikari/TBM - Yagyu+Berserk spam (could change to bushi for genji gear+black robe)
Machinist/RBM - best gun +Dark shot+Berserk+dark robes, was hitting for 40k each.

Probably better dmg output than seitengrat due to elemental bonuses.

He went down in about 30 mins.

I dropped all his stats, i have a conftonter always on his face using bubble belt and can heal themselved and regen. The ither 2 have Seitengrat which is only a bit stronger than Excalibur and i keep them 2 in back of him and attack. I also have another white mage/ as those 2 attackers which alternates between auto attack and controlled. The close combat is mainly auto attack/heal and then the lead is only in auto attack until he turns towards the back 2. As of right now, i'm taking a break but he only has about 30% left. Long fucking fight. I've never died so much than this game 🤦‍♂️ About 2 hrs took away 65%. Level 65ish.
