I LOVE your focus on helping people feel good and safe in their own bodies and celebrating individuals. I am so happy one of your videos came across my feed because you share helpful info in such an engaging manner, and I get the sense that you genuinely care about people.

This is the most useful and informed advice on posing I've seen. I particularly love that unlike most posing guides, the advice wasn't about looking prettier or thinner. It was about creating interesting images while bringing a more genuine expression of our mood or feeling. Thanks so much for sharing

ETA: Also, it seems every male photographer translates "sexy expression" for women as "squint your eyes and partially open your mouth." That's the Meagan Fox pose (that woman has her moutj open in so many photos I began to wonder if she had a condition that prevented her from fully closing her mouth). That right there is up there with the peace sign pose as the most overused. And it also frames female sexuality under the literal male gaze, instead of tapping into what makes that particular woman feel sexy. Like maybe one woman feels sexy when she feels strong, so showing a feeling of strength is going to bring that sexy out of her. I appreciate that you didnt use traditional or sexist ideas of posing "sexy."

I successfully quit TikTok and Instagram. thanks for the video, it's super helpful! Posing for photos had always been a mystery through all my 18 years of life😅

I'm neurospicy and this is really great spelling out. I have no conception of what my body looks like in space so it's a learning curve for sure. I like the focus on the feeling or movement - a photo is a point in a line of a story

You are the best, David! I’ve been modeling full time for four years and I still learn something new from you every single time I watch your videos. You are so talented. My dream is to shoot with you one day! ♥️

You are my favorite "glow up" mentor online atm, it's so much easier to keep up the confidence, and connecting to the poses, especially in public speaking. I can absolutely see your fix and flow in your movements-you translate the form into emotion beautifully!

I just want to say I love what you do when it comes to expressions. Yes, it might be more ideal to have a more specific guide- but lets be honest: when people (even successfully) mimic an expression and vibe, but don't fully mean or feel it, you can see it in their eyes. You can feel it.
*But* when people express what they genuinely feel, we are able to connect to them and even feel drawn to them- because it's REAL.

*What you do is go straight to the core of that person, and make them manifest what is real to them.*
THIS goes perfectly with what you do and and your brand because it genuinely brings out that person as an individual.

Another example: What I express as "feeling sexy" (to me) may be expressed completely differently by someone else. But when you get a good picture of us both doing it genuinely, you can tell what it is despite the differences.

You do that for people, and I think that's important in this obsessively "Self expressive" yet fake Insta culture on the internet where everyone feels the need to be someone else and yet "be themself".
Seriously, man. What you and your team does is *WAY* beyond impressive.

I'm poor as heck at the moment but I plan to work my butt off to one day get a photoshoot with you guys. I have a photoshoot planned since a year ago and I think you guys are the *perfect* people to make it come to life.
I also want to use it to let people to see what you do and let the positive effect ripple out.
*Keep it up my guy. You have all my support!*

P.S.
Me who doesn't (currently) use Insta or TikTok at the intro after "What are you doing on Youtube?": 👁👄👁💧💧💧

I just wanted to say that I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now and they made me feel more confident and more comfortable with myself and in my body. I'm an overweight 5'3" girl and I've never quite known how to pose for photos or how to feel okay in my own skin. But your videos make me feel comforted and even inspire me. Thank you for that ❤

Hi David. I’ve been trying to get better at posing for a good while now and I’ve watched a lot of videos on how to achieve that. Yours is hands down the best and gives real tips instead of BE NATURAL or MAKE TRIANGLES!!! This is so basic (in a good way) and understandable, especially with the examples. And posing points - GODSEND. Now I will be making triangles AND sinuses. Not to mention your presence is so cool I actually want to listen to you. Great video!

Really loved the breakdown of 7 Posing Points. I’ll be dropping, pivoting and curving and tilting more spontaneously.

Your advice feels like it opens up a whole new world on not just how to pose but also how to relate to your body and inner self.💖

Can't wait for videos on posing for family vacations! Not trying to "look amazing" but more like having fun with the family and kids that might not be posable! Also with family members of all ages!
