in this video i make the parser and construct the abstract syntax tree for an interpreted programming language designed for Matrices and Linear Algebra operations. in the next video i'll make the backend of the language.

i use a parser generator called Pest, which generates a Parsing Expression Grammar (PEG). it's pretty similar to menhir in my opinion.

funny edit at around minute 41:00. i'm getting better at the green screens.
