Hodgkin’s lymphoma - Hodgkin’s Disease - Reed-Sternberg Cell - Hematology and Oncology -Enlarged, Painless Lymph Node!
Lymphoid malignancies are divided into leukemias, lymphomas, and myeloma.
We divide lymphomas into Hodgkin's lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Hodgkin's lymphoma commonly affects the cervical and anterior mediastinal lymph nodes.
All things being equal, the prognosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma is better than that of Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Hodgkin's lymphoma is associated with EBV.
There is contiguous spread among adjacent lymph nodes.

CORRECTION! In this video, I said “contagious”...It should be “contiguous”.

Just got diagnosed with HL and will be starting my chemotherapy two days from now. I'm doing my research because this disease is so foreign to me then I stumbled upon your video. I learned a great deal, thanks.

My friend has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma this year in Jan. He had EBV and that was a risk factor which contributed to it. He's going strong and has completed 5 cycles of chemo. I'm writing this comment to wish for his speedy recovery. May god make him healthy again, more than ever 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@Medicosis Perfectionalis I had thyroid cancer 3 years ago. The cancer was all in the left side of the thyroid. The whole thyroid was removed, and it was decided I didn't require radiation. But about a year ago a lymph node under the left side of my jaw started to hurt, especially after drinking alcohol and sometimes swells to the about the size of a large marble. And I've been having terrible night sweats as well. I haven't gone to see a doctor.

Well... I'm a 23 year old guy and I do a lot of lifting and running and thought the lumps in my groin were just from overuse... had them for a couple years now. Time for a visit to the doctor.
