Brighton Beach, aka "Little Odessa, " is a fantastic and lovely place to visit, especially the beautiful beach. Coney Island is only (about) half a mile away.

Are your parents from Russia (mine are from Ukraine actually)? I was perusing your channel and this video caught my eye because I made a vlog of here a few months back myself and our impressions were so different. I more marveled at the quirkiness of the area. We both visited that same book store as well!

I love NY!!! So much to do there and see. I have been there twice for 4 day trips in Manhattan only and can't wait to return again!! Once I have seen all I want to experience I plan to venture out. Ya for me it's a short drive also...lol!!! It's about 11 hours for me.
