Well as a photographer and cinematographer i can say more power is always welcome in photography, for one reason only. if I have to export a bi amount of images and I save even one min of my time in that process it could be worth the money. Time is money and spending time waiting for something to process or render is wasting money...Also less time waiting for some process to finish is more time for the computer to work on something else. So in some cases i can se a good reason to buy a imac pro as a photographer especially if your work is base around jobs that expect of you to create and deliver bigger collections of photos like weddings, events etc..
Regarding the magic mouse it would be nice to create a wireless solution even as a docking station for it to charge.

You say it does not get hot, do you have any prof to backup this statement, because some other reviewers say it downclocks because of thermals, if you run encoding or rendering for some time.

You should really be editing video off an external RAID and not the local drive. You could have spent a lot less on the SSD for one... Better to keep your OS/applications, cache, and media on separate/fast storage. Look at Pegasus3, G-Speed Studio, LaCie, there’s lots of them. RAID5 or 6, make sure it has optimal read/write speeds for what you’re doing.
