It’s crazy how simply watching this trailer was enough to stand the hairs on my neck and give me goosebumps. I remember being a kid, watching this trailer and thinking this was revolutionary graphics and having a great time beating then speed running the game. Idk if games are getting worse or if I’m just “growing up”.

Catalyst is great but the clean sky, bright city, epic soundtrack and the overall atmosphere of this game is something that probably won't be captured in any other incarnation of Mirror's Edge ever again. Truly a masterpiece

Gaming was at its absolute peak in 2008. I’m glad that I’ve been able to experience it at a young age. I was 12 when this game was released. The same year as Bioshock, Dead Space, GTA IV and many more. It was an absolute blast. The soundtrack of this game almost makes me shed a tear.

The world, the lore, the music, the atmosphere.. This game will forever remain one of those games I will always love and enjoy despite it's age. I love the first mission right after the training stage where you get the intro and the soundtrack plays along.. Gives me goose bumps every time.

Sure it was short but damn it was one good game. It was standing out from other games during 2008. The art style and gameplay was different what was on the market, heck it even stands out to this day and DICE did a great job with it. And please Criterion, keep everything I and others loved about this game in the next one.

This game is so unfairly underrated. It has an amazing soundtrack and atmosphere. Unfortunately, its weakest part would be the storyline, mainly because it is short and kind of mediocre. But the graphics. Oh, the graphics! It's incredible how this game was released in 2008 and it can still compete graphically with some games that are released today, even it's console version, which is the one I play.

I was obsessed with this game for the entire summer in 2009. The aesthetic, the unique gameplay, the soundtrack, I just wanted to LIVE in this city. I even completed all of the speedrun achievements and I never was a speedrunner. I even bought the yellow runner's bag that came with the special edition on ebay and still have it in my closet. I will always cherish my time with this game and fondly remember running on the rooftops of this ultra-clean and hyper modern city. Also it's easily one of the best looking games of all time.

I have finished the campaign today ! its the second time, This game has something other games don't have, like seriously It makes you feel the combat and the environment, I know this game is 2009 but its still one of the best graphical games ! maybe the colors (Red and blue) makes you relax and get in the game ! Best game ever ! can't wait for ME2 !
