The committee has spoken, the Big 10 is the best conference in their opinion. No room for SC at the table. It’s a shame there isn’t more allowed in, SC would demolish most top 16 teams.

The CFP hopes don't mean a thing without decisive victories in their final three games. I sincerely hope they are ignoring all of the CFP discussions, and are focusing on how to bring the smackdown to their Western Columbia counterparts this weekend! Once that is out of the way, bring the focus on smacking down their upstate little brothers next week. Then head upstate and show them they own the state in their big brother's house. Once that is done - then start talking CFP.

The path for the Gamecocks going to the playoff is VERY slim even though I think we would beat 8 of the current top 12. There will have to be multiple SEC teams with 2 losses currently to lose a game in the next 3 weeks. Among those are UGA and A&M, maybe Tennessee but that one is doubtful. The best formula for the Gamecocks for the next 3 weeks is to put the foot on the gas pedal and not let up. Score as many points against the opponents we have left and the defense has to shut down opponents scoring as much as possible. Win each of our last 3 games by 30+ points and we might have a VERY slim chance as long as the committee takes strength of schedule into account. If the powers that be had the foresight to rank us ahead of #15 A&M this week - since we beat the crap out of them 2 weeks ago - then maybe we would have a chance. I have about zero faith in the playoff committee to get things right.... so don't get your hopes up. Lets get to a really good bowl and win big against our bowl opponent - finish the season 10-3 - and get ready for next year is the best, most likely scenario. GO COCKS !!

The CFP will screw us no matter what. Boise, BYU and Colorado are dogsht teams that don't play anybody and they are ranked ahead of us. Also, the auto bids for conference champs is ridiculous. A real playoff should be top 12, regardless of anything else
