This bulb has the appearance of an Edison style "filament" bulb, but uses LED light strips which only draw 4.5 watts (the power factor is around 0.39, so it takes 11 volt amps). This is one watt lower than the specifications, so I assume the light output is also lower than specified, but it looked just as bright as many other 60 watt "equivalent" Edison style bulbs I have.
So right now, it's working just great, I'll update the description if it dies on me.
