IUL are more comparable to CD.IRA with stock ownership shouldn’t be a comparison. This video is based on assumptions without detailing average return, asset allocation, and diversification. IUL is very limited to spread. I only offer this products to clients who aren’t wanting any sort of risk.

It is saying that if you deposit $ 5000 and you should die on the first day vs if you pay a premium for IUL THE SAME AMOUNT and die on the same day, your dependents will get the policy value I.e. 150000.00 Not just the amount you paid. And the death value is 100% Tax free.

Why would one compare a fixed asset vs a variable asset? Probably the best move for someone that can qualify for an IUL is balance your portfolio out with both. Considering he is not phased out of Roth, then you would have to do a backdoor option. IUL and Roth are both good. Dont think of one better than the other.
We need both the protection components of IUL and growth components of equities in a Roth.
Considering one has 20/30 years to accumulate.

Any of these are projections. You never mentioned that IUL have caps. ROTHs don't. And IUL have fees as well. Not saying one is better than the other but I would invest in the ROTH since it has more upside and take a term life policy out.

There is no way the growth in the IUL will grow to the amt in the illustration. The growth will probably be close to 2-3%
