Faced with such a mission, Mary, although initially disturbed, responds with faith and total surrender: “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.” Her obedience and absolute trust in God’s plan are a powerful example for all of us, challenging us to welcome God’s will in our lives, even when it is beyond our understanding.

These readings invite us to reflect on the importance of prayer, perseverance, and acceptance of God’s will. Like Mary and the disciples, we are called to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God has a greater plan for each of us.
