Dude, G-d's honest truth, that fucking show BLEW ME THE FUCK away. And, to think, I spent an hour last night deliberating whether or not to attend, "Do I really wanna get dressed and drive 15 mins to the Pageant?"

Like I live in L.A., instead of STL - the smallest big city on the planet - and driving anywhere isn't as easy as blowing my nose.

I haven't laughed that hard since I saw Red Skelton open for Lucille Ball during the Eisenhower administration. And the music? Unreal. I expected a lot of irony and some laughs, but I was BLOWN AWAY. Joe Walsh? Johnny Depp? Pure, unadulterated joy.

As someone told me long ago when I complained about missing a concert bc of my deliberation process: "Always go."
