epic 2 has that rough around the edges aesthetic that i cant quite wrap my head around nor can i get enough it of, its so good!

The puzzles manage to be simultaneously hard and challenging whilst not being an eyesore or headache inducing, and can i mention drawl below?

ITS A MASTERPIECE

Having to endure a binding of isaac styled experience inspired by rougelike and dungeon themed games like cult of the lamb feels great, and the achievements add alot of replayability to the game.

Collecting the crystals and pencils in new ways fascinates me though it it so simple.
The final boss isnt a total spamfest, it makes you use different tech from the game in order to drive the drill into its chest is really cool. Them summoning a corrupted you, your corrupted friend and zarp, which is a callback to epic 1 is really cool too.

Book of seasons was really cool, with the introduction of shovels and all it was a breath of fresh air

If i had to explain epic 2 in one phrase it would be:

Finding an onion ring in a carton of fries.

You dont expect it to come up, and when you try it, it hits like a brick in the best way possible.
