Florida man crashed into a USAA building after being denied entry

A Florida man with his sights set on entering a USAA building in Tampa wasn’t going to let anything stop him from gaining access. Tampa police say Robert Beaty, 70, went to the guard gate at the USAA office located at 17200 Commerce Park Blvd. shortly before 2:15 p.m. Tuesday and demanded to be let inside.

I was recently released from USAA as an almost 3 year licensed auto claim’s adjuster. There are issues at the top of this organization and they loose employees as fast as they hire them. There are not enough employees to answer calls and they leave these elderly members behind with the digital age. This does not excuse his actions by any means but the company put me in harm’s way when these calls would escalate. They were terrible to their employees who hold certain positions.

I have a two story home with a USAA flood insurance policy. After Hurricane Helene destroyed my bottom floor I filed a claim. USAA changed my policy and coverage RETROACTIVELY, so that my downstairs was NOT covered, and then denied my claim. I'm guessing did something similar to this poor guy. First he's a victim of a natural disaster, and then he gets victimized by his insurance company, USAA. I would love to be on his jury when he goes to court.

When USAA was bought out by Victory Capitol in 2018, they went straight down the " All About the Money" hill. I have been with them 10 years. After being not taken care of in Helene, I'm done!

I used to insure my vehicles with USAA when it's clientele was limited to active duty, retired and former Officers. Once USAA threw open the flood gates to anyone the premiums soared and I left. It's not the company it used to be and this guy is probably part of it's new clientele.
