I'm going to have to tell my neighbor about those special screws. She's had her plates taken three times by crooks and she has to report them stolen and get new ones.

I love how Frank uses the trunk paint for tool storage. 😂

Back in the 1980s. Buick LeSabre / park ave rear plate slid into a channel from the top.
Only way to move it was with the trunk open.

I put liquid weld in my screw tops to prevent theft

Bit or Bits. Security Bits is the word you're looking for. 😂

Carriage Bolts.... Drill clear through loctite, nylon lock nuts, AND drill a couple extra holes in the plate through out ...like 6 to 10 ...by then they'll move on to an easier target

Smart man to carry all the necessary tools and equipment ✊

Plate theft is so common here, I welded mine one.

They should make duelling legal as long as both parties agree.

I had a very cool cop not take my plates. He used the special bolts as his reson.Thank you again to that fine officer.

I through bolted my plates and used blue loctite and nylon nuts on the back. They may be able to get them loose from the front but to fully get them off they'll have to lay down, reach around and use a pair of players or a wrench to get them off.

My car stayed at a body shop for about 6 months to repair it from when I hit a deer . The day I picked it up I went to drive home my sister had to flag me down to tell me I didn't have any tags . Evidently someone stole the tags . Cost me ten dollars and the trouble of having to get the cops involved to get new tags at the DMV .

If someone steals my license plate, literally nothing will happen to me.

If they dont want the plate taken, dont do stupid stuff
thomascox
tamper proof bits, we used them on all access panels, light headers, marquis and joysticks and joystick panels back in the days of high cost coin operated video games. Most common being t20 and t25 tamper proof.
Love your stuff Frank.

Thanks a lot for informing all plate thieves

He is a one in a million cop. He is not typical. That's why citizens should be able to make videos of cops.

I respect that you probably don’t give a shit about what you’re doing but you do it because you get paid to do it. That’s professional! Pride in your work mister! You’re good at it, at least in your vids.
