This video sets the first stepping stone of doing the kswap into my Toyota Mr2 Spyder with currently a 2zz Engine in it... But before jumping into the Swap and Engine removal of the donor car (a 2003 Honda Civic Type R, EP3) what should be checked on the donor parts? Let me walk you through a few key elements that should be checked before you actually start the swap make sure you get started on a good base.

I learned you're supposed to do the compression check with the engine hot, since the pistons are actually kind of oval and don't become circular until they are warm, thus seating the rings better. On the other hand, I always do it cold myself too, because it would be kind of difficult to keep warming up the engine between measurements. Unless you are quick the engine would cool down and you'd get a different measurement for the last one vs. the first one. Anyway, just sayin'.

This platform (MR2) and a K swap is something I'm seriously considering over another SW20 MR2.
Would you consider the zzw30 to be a viable weekend toy once modified with coilovers, sticky tires etc?

I have a suggestion why would you remove the injectors why wouldn't you just remove the fuse for the fuel pump
