What is better? Working all day every day at probably 30-40% (if that) of your top mental and physical capabilities, or working part of your day for only a few days a week at 100% of your capabilities? Germany and other European Countries have proven time and again, that the second way is better, but big companies are too stupid to understand the fact, that people have limits and that respecting those limits has real benefits.

The 4-day week already exists for a few companies, but it is not standard here, the 5-day week is still the norm, but the 4-day week is being discussed.

Some unions are currently fighting for it. Personally, I don’t care, I’m fine with 5 days too.
I just need my weekends.
People in health and social services do hard work, less free time and often on hand in emergencies.
This is a work that needs to be more appreciated by money and better structure.
As a gardener, I also do a physically hard job, but the emergencies here are rare because I live in the north of Germany.
The snow is not so dramatic, few to non floods or hurricanes.
The north has so far escaped severe storms.

In my school and class the war and the Holocaust were explained and talked in great detail.
Were also with the class in 2 concentration camp.
No idea how much this is still discussed today, my school days were more than a decade ago.

Fun fact for "made in Germany": it was a law made in Great Britain 1887 to warn that the products where cheap and of bad quality!

As a brazilian with German ancestry and who lived in Germany, I think the video is generally right. Many of the traits mentioned I've seen in my own grandparents. But, after living in Germany and knowing how the country actually is, I would say there are many cultural differences among the regions, much more than I thought and they impact some topics mentioned in the video .

Yes, Germans are - in every part of germany - in general hard working, trustworthy, sincere, good-hearted and loyal, but there are differences in terms of rigour when it comes to punctuality, for example: it's not that in some places people are not punctual, but the "condemnation" for being late varies from place to place.

As an aside: I don't understand why this guy chose NFL fans to make the video. I don't remember knowing personally anyone who actually like this sport in Germany. People there love football (soccer).
