I do like the 'don't be pressured to buy' message because, as stated, sales are plentiful (almost year round) these days. Black Friday is essentially meaningless because i has expanded from a day to a month and will likely become more diluted over time.

One thing no one ever addresses with SD cards is TBW. This is something that wont bite you until later on. Be very careful with cheap SD card. They'll wear out quickly. I only think about it because until a few years ago, Pi's used to boot only off SD so I deployed a ton of Pi Holes on SD only. Good cards would wear out around a year. Cheap ones within months!
