It's quite sad that the damage model we all know and love from Dirt to Dirt 3 is probably never coming back. It also looks like the car can take a few major hits before anything serious happens, further reducing the difficulty.

I found out you can break the steering arm on one side (completely disconnecting steering for that wheel)

And when you misalign a wheel from knock a wheel from knocking it hard enough it affects the handling accurately

Very deceiving to see this from codemasters, they literally did way better on 2007 Dirt 1 and Grid1. Damage is nearly inexistent in this game.

Cool video, been playing Codies games since CMR4 but D1, 2, 3 had best damage model along DR1 and also Grid 1 and 2 :)

So even a game that's officially licenced WRC game can't have those new Rally1 cars deformations done anyhow. Modders are our hope.

I always drive in fpp but I like to see how damadged im am at the end of the stage. Such a pity that in new game there are no scratches, only parts falling apart.

Im suprised they manage to get all these damages in the game. Image is a big deal for manufacturers, thats why the f1 games dont have many damage model.
