3:33 it’s sad to see how high-trophies players don’t use to play against such as these strange midladder decks. For us stuck at 5500-6000 they are so common, 1/2 of the maches if not more are all the same facing opponents using mk mirror, hog gobbarrel freez, e-golem lumerloon… you should try to play with a midladder account for 1 day, you’ll see the huge difference

Battle Ram as the opening play might have better success if you don't place it right at the bridge so that it has its momentum by the time it gets within the tower's attack range.
