@AdventuresWithPurpose, . I want to share an experience that emphasizes the importance of being prepared for emergencies. Last month, my 18-year-old daughter had a frightening encounter that proved the value of carrying a safety tool. At first, she was reluctant to attach it to her keychain, dismissing it as unnecessary. However, a few weeks later, her perspective changed. While driving with her friends, their car was hit by another vehicle, causing them to lose control and veer off a bridge into the water below.

Fortunately, the tool came in handy. One of her friends used the window breaker to escape, while my daughter utilized the seatbelt cutter and window breaker on her side. All the occupants managed to swim to safety, thankfully escaping with only minor injuries. I am incredibly grateful for the safety tool and the instructional videos that accompanied it. It's a small but crucial item that can truly make a difference in emergency situations. Thank you

A very useful demonstration. A lot of people don't realize that you only really have 3 minutes to get out of a sinking car that goes into deep water and are then trapped by their own saftey belt as the car goes inverted. Precious time to escape as panic sets in.

Ever since I got pregnant with my first son I had nightmares of driving off a bridge and my baby being in the back seat under water and I was trying to get him out. I had this nightmare everytime I got pregnant and than once I gave birth I never had it again. Whats crazy is my oldest son is afraid of driving over bridges because of possibly going off and being trapped under water and I never told him this dream. So watching stuff like this gives me high anxiety and panic attacks, but it needs to be out there

I bought a few for relatives in Idaho known for lots of rivers and no guardrails. I didn't think about fire; thanks for the comment. Looks like I need to buy a few more. My husband told me to reach up and touch the device every time I get in the car so 'muscle memory' is there should I need it. Kathy

Yes!!! I have the pocket size ones attached to the headrest in front of my kids (Driver and Front passenger). They are zip tied so all they have to do is pull down and it comes out of the cap. I have mine attached on my driver side door and attached to the passenger side door as well. We live around the Great Lakes, so we are surrounded by lakes and rivers that are extremely deep. My husband also has one in his car. Just gives me a piece of mind, you never know. I also had my kids practice taking them out in the car and showed them how to properly use it. They are great for many situations, car crash, helping someone else in a car accident, getting a baby out of a hot car, (that's happening more and more) and same with dogs stuck in hot cars.

If you think of it, it can work for kids/adults who've been kidnapped too. They got one on their backpack or house keys. Kidnappers toss them in the back of the car and start driving away. They're not going to take the time to tie them up usually. So the kid/adult is in the back, grabs it, and as they're rushing down the street or the highway, they use it on the glass. Drivers or pedestrians see that or suddenly can hear a kid/adult screaming for help where as before the sound was muffled. Better chance for that child/adult. It's a thought

Entertaining, yes. But when you showed the perspective from outside the first vehicle it gave me a chill. The feeble tapping sound of the boys trying desperately to break the glass just reminded me of your recoveries in a whole new awful way.
