I LOVE 'real' white chocolate. Lindt truffles. . . i could eat 1000. But milk chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate are also wonderful.

The cake mix cookies are even better if you use 1 stick of melted butter in place of the oil. Another recipe is 2 cups of thawed Cool Whip, 2 eggs, and the cake mix. The oven temperature is 350° F. With the yellow mix and chocolate chips, I add about 1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar. This is the only way I eat chocolate chip cookies.

Have made them for years. When my son was in school and on the baseball team, I could whip out batch after batch so fast and the guys could have fresh made cookies before the game. One stick butter melted, one egg and cake mix. Chocolete cake add 3 tablespoons water.

My youngest daughter loves strawberry lemonade cookies a little ball of each cake mix dough as made above roll together in your hand, dip in powdered sugar and bake. Big hit for her 😊

I made several batches of these cake mix cookies for holiday gifts & dessert bar, WOW they were a HIT & a timesaver TOO. I made up my own flavors as I had ingredients I wanted to use up in the pantry. With the price of flour & sugar these days, I saved money too. My favorite flavor I concocted was chocolate spice with nuts, could add raisins too. I made with yellow cake mix almond extract, mini choc chips rolled in coconut, SCRUMPTIOUS!

I've made cake mix cookies for years. My favorite is red velvet then I use cream cheese frosting and make them into sandwich cookies.
