during marching band season for us our bus driver would let us use the back door to get our big cases of instruments and somewhere on the bus he had a button that would turn that little alarm off while the door was open.

I ride on a Thomas Saf-T Liner (Which is a Flat Nose Bus) and the sound of when the emergency doors/windows are opened hurts my ears.

God when ever I sat next to one I always feared it’d accidentally open one.. heck I recall I didn’t even dare touch the handle bc I thought it’d go off. (I have mental stuff and aren’t a fan of loud noises and also have anxiety)
