I also decided to read classics this year! I’ve read about 30 so far and I’m currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo, White Fang, Animal Farm and I’ve just started Wuthering Heights. (I always have a few books on the go) 😁

Coming of Age in Mississippi is SUCH a great book! Also, one of your anthologies probably includes Sojourner Truth’s “Now ain’t I a woman” speech. If not, I highly recommend it. I have a book called The American Reader that contains it.
