I love watching these videos this was the golden era of the Prem even if as a Leeds fan we only spent 2 seasons in it.

People forget how good prime Paul Robinson was. The media were a disgrace after that freak goal against Croatia. Recovered well after joining Blackburn, but was never looked at the same. Good to see Nigel Martyn on form as well.

Arsenal were ridiculous.
The Good old days when Man City were Man City.
Ferguson at Blackburn was great that year.
Zoltan Gera was a player.

Little things back then, are now gone. Like showing us the first 20-30 seconds of the game, regardless of nothing happening. It made you feel like you were watching it somewhat "live" in a way. Just lets you soak in the atmosphere.

12:07… amazing bit of commentary insight from Johnathan Pearce there… I’m sure Solomon Island were far too strong to beat an Australian side without Tim Cahill

Everton vs Spurs was a good game. Remember the beginning of the Martin Jol era which were good times as a Spurs fan.
Everton were a very solid outfit under David Moyes.
Was it the season before that they qualified for the champions league via a top 4 spot?

Man, the good old days of MOTD! Do you have the rest from that season featuring goal of the month?

I miss having the presenter and pundits wearing suits and ties on MOTD, nowadays they all wear "casual" clothes and they just look a mess.

@Ben Jones - Do you have the Final 2006/2007 Match of the Day episode that features the WEST HAM and SHEFF UTD and WIGAN ATHLETIC relegation battle?

Gosh Graham Poll was an awful referee, whether it was in club or international football
