Very beautiful, and very Valli. You can obviously tell that this is his work. He seems to revisit themes and concepts, from his past and reworks them. I love all his work. He should've been considered for Dior, along with Elber Albaz, and Ricardo Tisci. He's a master.

This is by far the best couture collection ... the colors .. the fluidity of the fabrics and the soft tulle ... all is superb beyond words could express ... Giambattista Valli is a true master !

I'm looking at children trying to model clothes meant for mature women, wobbling on ill-fitting shoes and boots, looking completely uncomfortable and the poor girl in the White gown was doing all she could to keep from falling with that too long and too big of a dress...she looked as if she was going to cry. The fashion industry needs to do better. I don't feel a model should be under 20 years old. I've had enough of young girls wearing garments they really shouldn't be in at their ages. If these designers want the look of 30, 35, 40 plus year old women, then get models that are 30, 35, and 40 plus. Just stop with these fragile emaciated children.

I can not believe my eyes. I am amazed at how this collection could get high praise. It is absolutely absurd to see these CHILDREN modeling clothes aimed for MATURE WOMEN. I feel this high fashion world needs to grow up.

As much as I love Maria at Dior, Valli needs to be there ASAP!

At moments you could see the work in the garments, and it still worked. Ironically when that happened, I was reminded of when Pier Paolo and Maria Grazia first came to Valentino. Those lacy columns dresses were beautiful. Then there were moments where it looked worked to the point of overwrought. I have a particular annoyance with ruffle explosion dresses. When there’s no shape or form but it looks “fashion” because it’s just ruffle stacked on ruffle. Just because it’s big and dramatic, doesn’t make it fabulous couture. I was quite impressed by that last green monstrosity, though. That showed some forward trajectory.

the collection is high fashion haute couture bliss. but what happened to REAL models that could present an haute couture garment like its meant to be presented?!?! these girls need to enroll in the school of Naomi, Linda, Claudia, Cindy,  Helena, Eva, & Carla - and take serious notes.
