Sounds of Science - Cool Science Experiment for kids

The sensation perceived by the sense of hearing is called sound. Sound is a vibration that propagates as waves through a transmission medium such as solid, liquid or gas. The mechanical vibrations transmitted through an elastic medium, traveling in air at a speed of approximately 331 meters per second. Musical instruments produce sound through the vibration of strings (violin and guitar) or air (flute and saxophone). In this video we demonstrate different types of sound, how sound can be produced, and how the pitch of a sound can be varied.
