When riding on the Shinkansen past Mount Fuji, everyone tries to reserve a window seat in order to get a nice view of Mount Fuji. But there's no guarantee that you'll get a good view because the weather often plays a big role in whether you get a clear view or even any view of this majestic mountain in Japan. Due to heavy snow on January 25th, the trains were all running late and it caused an almost 2-hour delay. I was so disappointed because I had reserved a window seat, but needed to change my ticket in order to get back from Shizuoka to Yokohama before the evening. I wasn't going to be picky about wherever my seat was because I just needed to get home. Well, luck was in my favor! Not only did I get a window seat view, but look how beautiful the weather was that day!
