Elsa’s value proposition is vulnerability and soulfulness. This song despite being a seeming ballad requires more power vocal and even rough desperation. It didn’t really suit her style

I love and I'm jealous of harmonies that are close together in tones. I don't know the technical term but it's hard to execute without being pitchy or dissonance. Me being classically train just usually goes for a higher octave.

No. Why would they pick that song for these two young ladies? It doesn't fit their voice at all and both have very different voices. I'll never ever ever understand why the judges pick some of the songs that they pick for these singer's especially the younger singer's.
