Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini Pro 8 inch Tablet - Drone Flying Made Easy!

We tried a few (Budget) Tablets.. This one might just be the one. Yes there are better ones but for under $200.. might be pretty hard to beat.

I had never heard of "Alldocube" before but several reviews sounded good. None really mentioned flying Drones with it so I felt the call to do so.

I do like the 10 inch Tablets , but they are very large and offset the balance sometimes. The 8 inch format seems to be just about right.

I bought this one from AliExpress from the Alldocube Store. Delivery was fast and it was very well packaged.

The internal microphone is not bad either. It sounds even better when the drone is out of earshot.

The size fits perfectly for my Hubsan Controillers and the X8SE controller.

My first ever drone (Fimi Mini 3) is on the way to me and I've subbed and been watching a load of your videos. Impressive amount of effort and time you put into them as well, so thanks for that.

I noticed the 60 version of this is out now with Android 14, but how can you use it with the Fimi Mini 3 holder as it obviously won't fit using the standard slide n' hold configuration due to the size?

Hello from Toronto my fellow Canuck...I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for this video. I've been researching for days what tablet to get for my mini 3 pro and I've settled on this one, so finally I was hoping to find a video review and here you were...So thanks again my friend. Quick question, looking at your screen capture is it me or does it seem a bit blurry? Or maybe your not actually seeing that when looking at it and perhaps it just get blurry once transferred over. Also do you find it bright enough when outdoors in the sun?

Its been 6 months since this video (July 5 2024 today for me) Do you stand by the Alldocube tablet? Also, do you remember what the difference was between the Pro and the not Pro?
I need one with better screen resolution and just a little more cpu than the samsung A7 Lite.

Hi GM Garage, i need a good tablet for my drones to replace my old Huawei Mediapad M3 that works with Android 7. I use it with Dji Fly and Fimi Navi, and your Alldocube Play 50 mini Pro is interesting, but i see that is out new Alldocube iPlay 60 mini Pro with larger battery, Android 14 and dual speakers, same G99 processor, what do you think about? The only minus is that they claim maximum 350 nits of brightness and outdoor under sunlight i think is not enough. Your 50 mini Pro how is under direct sunlight? Have you other tablet to recommend? when tablets say 4gb+32gb its 'ram' (4gb) 'workspace' for running the app plus 32gb 'flash' to store the apps themselves and photos/video/music/downloaded thigs, its not 'split memory' its two physically different chips soldered to the board. some have an sdcard slot to add more 'flash' which adds to the 32gb part, you cant add to the 4gb part.
if a manufacturer doesnt quote the first 'ram' figure, there too embarassed to tell you. _all_ tablets/phones are built with ram+flash
The Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini Pro is 8GB+256GB which is very very respectable for the price, I may retire my old 6+128 teclast m40
