disappointing books I read in 2022

I filmed this before Christmas of the end of 2022, but I wanted to put this up because talking about bad books/books I did not enjoy is cathartic and fun

The premise to reluctant immortals does sound interesting. I myself have a very complicated relationship with vampires, but if I were to sum up my issues with them I don't like how they are written most of the time, and most of those books aren't aimed to the type of reader I am as an audience. That being said I have been giving them more of a chance over the past sixish years? I have found some I like is the point and typically I prefer the main character to be the vampire, it to be more literary than not, and more gothic or horror than not. I also prefer the book to not be a romance with the stereotypcial male vampire character. And this book actually does sound like that. But at the same time your review...I don't know. I don't know. If it is poorly executed then that wasted potential is going to make me agree with you.

You know, I like Shea E’s YA books because she has good ideas but iffy execution, and I can plow through them during the workweek when I need something easy. But I’ve been slow to read Wild Places and I think this is why.

I couldn’t even finish reluctant immortals it was weirdly boring and felt very repeat
