Thanks for this breakdown. Am I understanding correctly that you don't use your laptop's built-in camera, but you use an external webcam you attach to your laptop? I couldn't tell if there was a camera on the laptop when you showed your setup. I'm trying to determine if I need to try another camera other than the laptop's. Thanks.

At my home, I am about to set up a very amateur podcast studio in my basement so hope to learn much quickly.

What do you recommend for a laptop? I have always used PCs and am wondering if I should break down and get a Mac. I currently Dave a Dell that has 8 g but I think that I can increase that to 16.

Also, I did pick up a used 43 inch roku tv wondering if I can connect a laptop to it for easier editing?
