Alameda is a small town in the southeast corner of Saskatchewan with a population of 345 people. Its name "Alameda" means "Avenue of Trees" and it's known for its tranquil atmosphere, wide range of amenities and abundance of resources like grain, oil and water. Alameda Dam is a popular destination for recreational activities and hosts an annual fishing derby, and there are also events and activities hosted throughout the year. The town is located 55km east of Estevan, and nearby larger cities include Weyburn, Regina, and Minot, North Dakota.
