I think the kamidos are able to survive the sun even as a demons is due to the fact that the kamido family has a great connection to the sun god which the ritual that tanjiros dads does the sun dance so this may be factor that the kamidos family is blessed

I thought Nezuko and Tanjiro ate the Blue Spider Lily as a child. The Blue spider Lily only blooms during day time and dies off at night time. I remember seeing in the manga when Tanjiro was fighting Rui (Lower moon 5), he had a flash back of the flower, meaning, he knew where it was and it's close to where they live.
