Face the pigtail away from the stock to secure the tape and prevent the stock from pushing the standard over.

Good video! Treat your soil and your soil will treat you!
For my grazing temporary fence I have a little spring loaded gate handle on one end but it's more of an L and not so much a c hook so if it gets struck too hard it can pop off. Then with a bunch of them step in pigtail posts and a spool like you have stretch The Wire across and then I just hang the spool over the hot wire at the other side next to a post. Not much tension but good voltage and the cattle will learn to not mess with the fence.

Thanks Tim. I would like to hear your wisdom on wallaby proof fencing! They're a big problem for me at the moment, I'm about to start the first phase of exclusion fencing.

Nice vid Tim, think the background music is annoying. Thought you could have mentioned post spacing.

did you join two pigtails to make that post? I have never seen any sold like that. The metal Thunderbird/Gallagher multi-wire posts are good but very susceptible to shorts- when you run multi wire as you feed the wire/tape from one clip to another I seem to always have to muck around adjusting the wire because they end up touching the steel...somewhere or another.

How much power does this provide ? Does this powerful enough and can stop wild pigs entering into the paddock?

Maybe I missed it, but I was interested in the power source used for the fence and how you connect and protect it from the weather

Thanks for the tip. I'm about to build a temporary fence with star pickets and Poly wire. This is because of time constraints getting my treated pine Posts. Do you have any tips on making the fence secure with star picket and polywire? It has to hold two horses in for at least 4 weeks
